Author Dan Smith visited Norham as part of this years Northern Children’s Book Festival in partnership with North Tyneside Libraries.
Libraries all across the country have been lcelebrating Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary year with special events and activities over several months. Norham were invted to take part in an event based around The Tempest at Wallsend Library run by Bigfoot Entertainment. A great day was had with the pupils performing some great scenes.
A fabulous Night at the Movies was had by parents and pupils at this years Open Evening.
Over a hundred primary pupils joined us for an amazing day of sport here at Norham.
Norham High School celebrates complete turnaround in examination success with best ever GCSE results Norham High School in North Shields is celebrating a set of fantastic GCSE results this summer. They are the best the school has ever achieved with 54 percent of Year 11 pupils achieving 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths. This is a 19 percent increase on the results achieved in 2015. In addition, pupils achieved brilliant results at all grades with 15 percent of grades at A* and A.
Norham Year 7 pupils receive their Junior Prince’s Awards.
