Celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare

Libraries all across the country have been lcelebrating Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary year with special events and activities over several months. Norham were invted to take part in an event based around The Tempest at Wallsend Library run by Bigfoot Entertainment. A great day was had with the pupils performing some great scenes.

Exam Results Day 2016

Norham High School celebrates complete turnaround in examination success with best ever GCSE results

Norham High School in North Shields is celebrating a set of fantastic GCSE results this summer.

They are the best the school has ever achieved with 54 percent of Year 11 pupils achieving 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths.  This is a 19 percent increase on the results achieved in 2015.

In addition, pupils achieved brilliant results at all grades with 15 percent of grades at A* and A.
