After weeks of researching, rehearsing and preperation Year 7 finally delivered their Remembrance Assembly to a hall full of parents, governors, teachers and the military of which one was an ex Norham pupil. The pupils took their audeince on an emotional ride through the history of World War One as part of their Junior Prince's Award.  Each member of the year group had their piece of research to share with the audience along with video footage to remind people of how much our soldiers and country went through during this time.  The pupils concluded their presentation with a beautiful and moving rendition of The Poppy Girls song "The Call" (No need to say Goodbye).  A short statement to remember the fallen was read by a SkillForce instructor followed by a two minute silence introduced by "The Last Post" played by a military bugler and followed by the bugler playing to our finale with the "Reveille".

Executive Headteacher, Mr Baldwin said "it was a fantastic moving performance by Year 7, something that they and their parents could be really proud of".  He went on to say "these young people have reminded us of our British values and some of the reasons why we are here today in this proud community".
