Daniel McGregor (My Daniel) is a member of the Out of Sight Charity, who support visually impaired children living in North Tyneside. My Daniel, is not only visually impaired, but he is unable to walk, talk or sit unaided due to cerebral palsy from birth. My Daniel, aims to raise funds to help him purchase much needed equipment that is not available to him through the NHS, to make his life more comfortable when he is on respite care at his Grandmother’s home. Earlier this year the My Daniel, Trust were donated a profiling bed, part of his “wish list” by Cleveland Park, which Daniel now uses when on respite.
Daniel’s elder sister Bobbie attends Norham and with the help of her P.E. Teacher, Mel Petherbridge and the Norham School Council they have organised and sponsored Clubbercise event on 5th December 2015. Tickets are on sale at £10 each and the event will be held at the Deep Night Club, Whitley Bay starting at 7pm to 9pm. All proceeds will be donated to the My Daniel, Trust. If you’re interested in attending this or any Clubbercise event you can contact Mel Petherbridge, email@example.com Clubbercise is a fun and funky exercise class, performed in a darkened room using illumination such as: glowsticks, neon and UV face/body painting and disco lights. It creates a party club atmosphere and its fun, but it also helps with self-esteem and body issues that some people face going to a regular dance class or gym.
It brings a “night out” to a “workout”!
Norham and especially Mel Petherbridge who is hosting the Clubbercise event said, “We are so excited to support this local family as Norham always tries to extend into the wider community to help wherever we can”.
